Olivia Rodrigo Announces New Album: “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So In Love”

According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, Olivia Rodrigo, the acclaimed singer and songwriter, has unveiled her third studio album titled “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So In Love.”
The album is scheduled to be released on June 12.
Olivia Rodrigo announced the release by sharing an image of the album cover on her Instagram account. In the image, she is seen wearing a pink outfit, sitting on a swing and appearing to enjoy joyful moments.
She wrote:
“My third album, ‘You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So In Love,’ comes out on June 12. I’m very proud of this work and can’t wait for you to hear it.”
The album is now available for pre-order through Rodrigo’s official website in various formats, including vinyl, CD, cassette, and digital edition.
Multiple vinyl variants have been released, including a 180-gram edition, pop-up blue, deep pink, and black versions. Cassette editions are also available in pink and light blue. A signed CD version of the album was previously sold out and is now unavailable.
On this album, Rodrigo once again collaborates with Dan Nigro, the producer of her previous works.
This release follows her two successful previous albums, “Sour” (2021) and “Guts” (2023). “Sour” received 6× Platinum certification and “Guts” achieved 3× Platinum from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Among Olivia Rodrigo’s notable tracks are “Drivers License,” “Deja Vu,” “Good 4 U,” “Brutal,” “Vampire,” “Bad Idea Right,” and “Get Him Back!”
She also contributed the track “Can’t Catch Me Now” to the soundtrack of the film “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” in 2023.
